When should I have my brakes checked?
- You should have your brakes inspected when your vehicle makes unusual grinding or squeaking sounds
- When your ABS or Brake indicator lights are on your dash
- When your vehicle’s brake warning lights illuminate on your instrument panel, it could mean low brake pads or a possible issue with the brake fluid system or ABS (anti-lock brake) system
- Brake pulsation (shaking) under braking could mean that your brake rotors are warped from heat and need to be machined or replaced
- Vehicle pulls under braking means you should have your brake calipers or wheel cylinders inspected
- A brake inspection should be performed when you have a low brake pedal, a sinking brake pedal or experience poor stopping
- Loss of brake fluid is a sign for a brake inspection
